What do you hope will stay the same?
Sometimes I am just AMAZED at how transitory things are. Even the ground we walk on that seems so solid, as in Terra Firma, is hurtling through space at 67,000 mph, rotating at 1,000 mph at the same time. Its enough to make you dizzy! When I find something that has what it takes to remain unchanged over time, I am humbled by that. What do you hope will stay the same? What do you wish would change?

Visited St. Mary's College yesterday to share my VOCATION story with students in the Catholic Imagination course. The students were thoughtful and asked great questions. There is a very real desire to know more about Christ, Scripture, Contemplative Prayer, Meditation, Dominican Mystics, and Religious LIFE. I sensed that volunteering for community SERVICE is a step they are ready to take now on the journey towards a more complete GIFT of self in a life commitment, whether that be in a career, a marriage or religious life. They asked such great questions. I was impressed with their intelligence and sincerity.
